A Lakeview architectural horror! The Brighton is Lakeview's prison!

Aww, the Brighton! What a "wonderful" addition to the city's skyline, it is located at Wellington and Broadway in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. I know, you may wonder if Mr. Archibleckture admires any new construction in this city? Why, he complains about everything, from faux-Disney-to this. Yet, I do wonder who in their right mind would want to buy a very expensive condo in a building that resembles a prison? This building is classless, emotionless, cold, forbidding, gray, depressing-there are so many ways to describe it. And what of the nearly-windowless sides? The terrible lobby? C'mon now, what city official in their right mind could approve this building to be constructed? It in no way blends in with the street either. So much is wrong, so little is right. And quite frankly, this makes Mr. Archibleckture quite angry!

Love, Mr. Archibleckture (sort of)
