While this is good news, and allows for many to renovate their homes/receive teax breaks, I am not sure how this will help with actual preservation? Does this keep buildings in Pilsen from being demolished? Input would help!

Did anyone else laugh/cringe at the Trib's choice for the 3/16 entry in their 7 Blunders of Chicago feature? It was the replacement of demolished homes in so many neighborhoods with cookie cutter bland and sometimes offensive architecture.
